The First Peoples Principles of Learning is a set of principles that was created merely to guide the evolution and growth of the curriculum in regards to the teaching of the English First Peoples Courses.
Additionally, many of the principles are those of superiority within First Nations Communities in regards to the ways of teaching and learning within their societies.
I have found the First Peoples Principles of Learning to be a fantastic resource when creating lesson and unit plans. The principles put forward a set of very valuable guidelines. It illustrates components that should be incorporated into all lesson and unit plans whether it be by just a few of the principles, or many.
